Our Account Manager Trainee Duties:

  • Serve as the primary account representative and sales contact for interactions with customers advising on the best products and services to exceed their expectations
  • Leverage relationships and industry knowledge to create or assess opportunities and meet set sales objectives
  • Consult with customers to determine plan requirements as needed
  • Drive, meet, and exceed success metrics, including revenue and retention through upselling and promoting all available products and services
  • Identify and recommend areas to improve efficiency and communicate cross-functionally with our internal partners, leadership teams, and peers
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with new customer accounts by actively listening, reading, and relating to the customer needs in an empathetic manner
  • Collaborate with team members to effectively execute territory management and increase customer retention
  • Work directly with the Account Manager Trainee and executive staff in order to optimize sales efforts and stay on top of industry trends

General qualifications we look for in an Account Manager Trainee:

  • 0-3 years of experience in Account Management, Sales, Business Development, or Client Relations
  • High school diploma or comparable certification
  • Enthusiasm toward learning new skills and establishing a long-term career
  • Dependable transportation

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Oakland, CA: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:
